Pines

Japanese pines, are one of the most attractive trees for oriental gardens.  They are evergreen and add good year round structure to your beds. They look at their best when the new growth appears, in spring.

The Pines that we stock do not require regular pruning, because they are dwarf varieties. They are a popular tree for the garden as the root systems are compact and not invasive. Pines will tolerate full sun, but will require generous watering.

Please note that leaf scorch can be caused by lack of soil moisture or excesive exposure, resulting in brown tips.
