Description
The Misaki Japanese Stone Lantern, hand carved from natural silver-grey granite comes in 4 pieces. Traditionally, you should place your Misaki stone lantern near water. This style of Lantern is known as an Oki-gata.
In Japan, they are most often used beside a stream or set on a peninsula of land jutting out into a pool of water, as they allude to Japanese Lighthouses.
The diameter of the top lid is 45cm.
This lantern comes in 4 separate pieces. You can leave the pieces sitting freely on top of each other. If you live in a particularly windy area or you are worried about children or animals knocking into the lantern you can stick the pieces together using a clear, outdoor adhesive such as Stixall.
This Japanese stone lantern is not drilled. You can place a tea light or candle in this lantern to produce light.
