Description
Kusari-doi, known as rain chains are a decorative alternative to a water down pipe. Made up of 42 individual cups, water gently cascades down to floor level into a large bowl or drain covered with pebbles. A weight is attached to the last cup, keeping the rain chains in position.
They are supplied as 3 x 1 m lengths, and a 1kg weight. Each chain is detachable and therefore the overall length of the run can be made to fit the space. Each cup is in the shape of a flower petal and is made from plastic.
We do not supply the fittings required to attach the rain chain to a gutter, a suitable fitting must be purchased elsewhere.
